Shoppers watched on in panic last night as an 18-year-old man was stabbed at Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd’s Bush, west London.
Scotland Yard said he suffered non-life-threatening stab wounds.
In a statement on Twitter, the London force said: “We’re working at the scene of a stabbing in Ariel Way, W12 at around 9pm. A crime scene is in place while detectives examine the area - with the main focus on a lift lobby where blood is splattered up the walls and doors.
It comes after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in Canning Town, east London yesterday evening. Police says his condition is also non life-threatening.
Footage of the scene shows a forensics officer working on a staircase and lift lobby where a lot of blood is visible.
No arrests have been made at the time of writing.
