Any potentially damning information turned up by special counsel Robert Mueller and his band of investigators could go “beyond what anyone on the outside can imagine,” according to a former White House counsel for President Barack Obama.
Bob Bauer, who served under Obama and is now a law professor at New York University, told Axios that investigators could have far more than major news organizations have reported ever since Mueller's appointment nearly 19 months ago.
"Investigators have the skills and resources to turn up evidence, including witness testimony, that goes beyond what anyone on the outside can imagine in the daily speculation about the Mueller probe,” Bauer said.
