Gaza skaters battle blockade and conservatism

Gaza City is a noisy place: street vendors holler and drivers blare their horns incessantly, but at the city’s port an unfamiliar sound can be heard -- the rumble, grind and clatter of skateboards. The ramps and ledges a few hundred metres from the sea may not look like much, but they make up the first and only full skate park in the Palestinian enclave.
