Rabbi Yisroel Goldstein, via statement According to NBC, Kaye's husband was with her at the time when she was shot. Earnest wounded three others before being chased away by Oscar Stewart, a congregant member and Iraq war veteran. Police say they believe Earnest, who is being held without bond, acted alone.
