The White House is facing more questions from social media after posting another puzzling photo of first lady Melania Trump--this time, to promote a prescription drug disposal effort called National Take Back Day.
The White House tweeted from its official account Saturday: "It's @DEAHQ National Take Back Day! As you safeguard your household from unneeded prescription drugs, read @ONDCP Director Jim Carroll's op-ed on preventing drug abuse BEFORE it starts."
Accompanying the post is a photo of Trump wearing a light pink coat on her shoulders and touching what looks like a black wall covered in small white dots.
The unusual photo choice seemed to have many on social media scratching their heads.
For example, one person wrote in response, "Nothing says turn in your drugs like Melania touching a wall of dots."
Another user referenced the White House's bizarre photo selection for the first lady's birthday Friday, saying: "I'm at a loss here... is this some type of artsy follow up to the strange birthday photo from yesterday? Some seriously odd stuff is being posted."
That image shows her sitting alone on a sofa surrounded by the media armed with microphones and cameras.
One person called it a "sad, lonely photo."
