This is the astonishing moment a furious pensioner clung to his pal’s car bonnet after they had a work argument on Wednesday (April 24).

Anan, 44, and security guard colleague, Somkid, 65, started fighting on the job in Surat Thani, southern Thailand

The younger man tried to drive home but his angry workmate, Somkid, then leapt onto his pickup truck.

The pensioner was seen sprawled across the vehicle when traffic policemen noticed the bizarre sight and began chasing after the car.

The truck was stopped at the checkpoint of Wipawadeerungsit Military Base where soldiers and policemen managed to subdue both men.

Police questioned the pair and said the pickup truck owner Anan and the other man Somkid were longtime rival colleagues at the security company where they worked.

The driver was about to reach his home when he confronted Somkid, who was also heavily drunk, waiting for him by the village entrance. The fraud stemmed from a long-running work dispute.

Anan was trying to drive away but the elderly man suddenly jumped onto his truck and clung tight to the bonnet.

Anan said: “He also tried to break my windscreen with his hands and his feet. I was very panicked and afraid that he would hurt me, so I kept on driving.”

Both of them were taken to the police station and finally reconciled. They were charged for causing a disturbance at the public place.

Police at Mueang Surat Thani Police Station said: 'Anan has been charged for reckless driving while Somkid was charged with drunk and behaving in a riotous manner.'

Both of the men admitted the charges and paid fines.
