After the U.S. appointed Iran's Revolutionary Guard (core) Corps as a foreign terrorist organization, the State Department announced on Wednesday it has granted exemptions to new sanctions on IRGC.
Outlined in the federal register by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, it mentions that foreign governments and businesses that deal with IRGC will not be denied U.S. visas.
However, the U.S. government had made an exemption that under the designation, anyone who provides any "material support" would face U.S. sanctions and won't be granted U.S. visas.
