Police have arrested a man on charges of arson and murder after five people were stabbed to death in Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do Province.
The suspect is believed to have set his home on fire at around 4:30 AM on Wednesday,... and then used a knife to attack residents that were evacuating the apartment building.
Five people were killed,... including a 12 year-old girl,... and 13 people have been injured,... with three in critical condition.
The fire was put out after 20 minutes,... and the police caught the suspect on site.
The suspect reportedly said,.... he committed the crime because of his overdue wages.
Police say he wasn't intoxicated,... and will further investigate into the suspect and his motive for the crime.
