In Thailand, elephants have water fights with people to welcome the New Year that is celebrated in April in the Southeast Asian country.
Elephants painted with colorful flowers from trunk to toe slurp up water and spray children and adults, cooling them off from the heat.
This water festival Songkran is often referred to as the world's biggest water fight and it is loved by tourists as well.
Other Southeast Asian countries such as Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia celebrate Songkran as well.
The water festival always takes place between April 13th to the 15th in Thailand.
