Origami Crane's unique brand of indie-pop is playful, flirtatious and packs a punch for a three piece band.

Jake Fine (Vocals, Guitar, Piano, Synthesizer), Noah Wilson (Bass, Synthesizer) and Max McEwen (Percussion) met as students of Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. After crossing the U.S. multiple times as members of different pop, soul and rock bands the three decided it was their turn to create a band of their own. In the Summer of 2017, they packed a van with all they could fit (mostly music equipment) and drove to their new home in New York City with a vision of what is now Origami Crane.

OC has since performed extensively in New York venues including, The Delancey, Rockwood Music Hall and Pianos and in October, 2017 performed at the festival, Mondo NYC. They recorded their debut singles with grammy nominated Brent Kolatalo (Ariana Grande, Beastie Boys and One Republic) and Arthur Indrikovs (One Direction, Calvin Harris, Florence + The Machine and more).

Their first single, 'Turn Around', was released on August 31, 2018. Logan White of Substream Magazine attested, "Origami Crane have crafted dance pop perfection with 'Turn Around'." Their follow up, 'Like a Flame' released on September 28th. David Crowley of Atwood Magazine called it, "an upbeat slice of passion worthy of fall or summer." Their latest song, 'SQ 1' released on October 26th an premiered on Style Music TV and Sinister Girlz.

Since their inception in 2017, Origami Crane has written an extensive set of original songs that brings together pop, soul and electronic influences, and earned a reputation for making crowds undeniably want to dance and sing along to lyrics both clever and substantive. Their original sound, magnetic comradery and charismatic performances make for an addictive musical experience.
