European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker insists there will be no short Brexit extension unless the withdrawal deal is passed within the next nine days.
His comments on Wednesday come less than 24 hours since British Prime Minister Theresa May announced her new strategy that requested for an extension of Article 50 to May 22nd.
Speaking to the European parliament, Juncker set an "ultimate deadline" of April 12th for the Commons to approve the withdrawal agreement.
Juncker spoke to EU lawmakers on the same day that May's Conservatives attacked her plan,... and her offfer to hold talks on a softer departure from the EU with opposition Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn.
