Ingredients:
For Marinade
250 gms Chicken
1/2 Lemon juice
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Black pepper powder
1/4 tsp Garlic powder
1/8 tsp Chilli flakes
For Coating
60gms All Purpose Flour (Maida)
1/2 tsp Salt
1 Egg
Instant Oats, grounded
Oil for frying
Method of preparation:
For Marinade
Cut the chicken breasts into strips.
In a bowl add chicken strips, lemon juice, salt, black pepper powder, garlic powder, chili flakes and mix them well.
Keep it aside to marinate for 15-30 mins.
For Coating
In a vessel, add all-purpose flour, salt and mix well.
Break open an egg and whisk it.
In a vessel, add instant oats, salt, pepper and mix it well.
For Chicken Fries
Heat oil in a vessel, take a piece of chicken, roll it in the flour mixture, shake off the excess, dip it in egg and then cover it with oat crumbs.
Fry the coated chicken until they are nice and crisp.
