A traffic police personnel on duty at the Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin intersection was hit by a car at around 8am today.
Reacting to the incident, former IGP Khalid Abu Bakar has called on authorities to take stern action against the reckless driver.
A 25-year-old student has reportedly been detained over the incident, and the injured officer is being treated at HKL.
