Contract Extension
With the Red Sox According to 'ESPN,' the
seven-time All-Star is sticking
around Boston for another five years. The extension is said to
be worth around $150 million. Before signing the new deal, Sale would have become a free agent after the MLB season. Sale also struck out 237 batters and started the All-Star game for the American League. The 29-year-old went on the disabled list twice during the season with shoulder problems. He then returned for the playoffs
and helped guide the Red Sox to
a World Series championship.
