A theme park based on the world of Finland's Moomin fairytale characters has opened in Saitama Prefecture near Tokyo. Moominvalley Park features buildings and attractions inspired by the Moomin stories, a series created and published by Finnish novelist and artist Tove Jansson in 1945.
