Mozambique's President says a massive storm that has gripped the country may have killed more than a thousand people.
Filipe Nyusi made the assessment while speaking on national radio.
Cyclone Idai has left a trail of destruction since making landfall last Thursday, submerging entire villages and leaving bodies floating in the floodwaters.
The official death toll stands at just over 80, with many still missing.
Idai is said to be the deadliest storm in generations to hit the African nation.
It has since moved on to Zimbabwe and Malawi, where scores of people have also died.
