The 'god of vault', South Korean gymnast Yang Hak-seon won gold in his first international tournament in 17 months.
Yang took home gold on Sunday at the International Federation of Gymnastics World cup held in Baku, Azerbaijan. He scored an average of 14-point-97 points over two rounds of vaults. His last international gold medal came six years ago at the 2013 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Antwerp, Belgium.
Yang missed the 2016 Rio Olympics and 2017 World Championships due to injury, but he's back at the top of his game in time for the Tokyo Olympics next year.
