Lori Loughlin Surrenders
to Federal Authorities in
College Admissions Scandal The 'Full House' Star is scheduled
to appear before a federal judge
in LA on Wednesday afternoon. She is one of dozens of
defendants accused in
a sweeping college
admissions investigation in which wealthy parents spent
or laundered millions in order
to get their children accepted
into elite universities. Loughlin and fashion designer
husband Mossimo Giannulli
are accused of paying bribes
to the tune of $500,000 so that their daughters
would get accepted into the
University of Southern California. Their daughters were
accepted to USC as rowers
under a special athletics admission. Prosecutors say there
is no evidence either daughter
has ever competed as a rower.
