Nothing Stays The Same trailer HD - synopsis: Directed by Jeff Sandmann, NOTHING STAYS THE SAME: THE STORY OF THE SAXON PUB focuses on Austin’s legendary Saxon Pub, which has been a celebrated home to some of the best musicians that music-rich city has had to offer for close to three decades. True to the title of the film, we see the Saxon Pub at a dire crossroads due to the unstoppable economic growth of the city – which doesn’t simply threaten the ability of the beloved bar and music venue to stay put (after several sister music venues have been forced to shut their doors in recent years), but also jeopardizes the ability of Austin’s musicians themselves to live in the city that built its reputation on their artistry and presence since the early 70s.
