Thousands join Melasti 'purification' ritual in Bali

Thousands of Balinese Hindus flock to the beaches of Indonesia's tourist island Bali to participate in the sacred Melasti purification ritual. The ceremony aims to clean the "stains" of the universe ahead of the Nyepi (Day of Silence).
