3월 국회 사실상 정상화
South Korea's National Assembly will soon be back in business,... after being stuck in limbo for two months.
The floor leaders of the country's three main political parties met Monday and agreed on the need to open the March session due to a stack of items they have to deal with.
But, they are still at odds over whether to launch a parliamentary probe into alleged real-estate speculation by a former ruling party lawmaker.
For now, the March session appears on track to being convened soon,... although specific schedules and agenda are yet to be set.
Separately, the leaders of the five main political parties met with the National Assembly speaker for their monthly luncheon.
They welcomed the normalization of parliament,... and called on parties to work for the people during the March session.
