China’s top political advisory body kicks off its annual session

China’s top political advisory body, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), started its annual session on March 3, 2019. More than 2,000 delegates gathered at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing for the opening meeting.
