Three personnel of the Indian Army's Para special forces were martyred in Pampore, Jammu and Kashmir, where a fierce encounter with militants holed up inside a government building has been going on for more than 24 hours now. With the two Central Reserve Protection Force (CRPF) personnel and a civilian killed yesterday, the death toll has reached six. One of the terrorists has also been killed. One of the Para regiment officers was Captain Pawan Kumar. The others were Lance Naik Om Prakash and Captain Tushar of 9 Para.
