It is learnt that Kannada writer, playwright and actor, Girish Karnad, has received death threat, reportedly warning that he would meet the same fate as that of M M Kalburgi, who was killed by unidentified assailants sometime back.
The caller reportedly told Karnad that he had made a mistake by demanding for the renaming of Bengaluru International Airport in the name of Tipu Sultan instead of Kempegowda.
