Voters on Wednesday queued up at more than 14,000 polling stations across six districts to cast their ballot in the third phase of Bihar’s staggered assembly elections. Fifty constituencies, spread over Patna, Vaishali, Saran, Nalanda, Buxar and Bhojpur, are going to polls in this phase. A total of 1.45 crore electors are eligible to decide the fate of 808 candidates, 71 of whom are women. Voting started at 7am in all the 50 constituencies and will end at 4pm in 10 constituencies and at 5pm in the rest 40 constituencies.
