A Mumbai Ranji player has been suspended in IPL Fixing Scandal. Hiekn Shah - a consistent Mumbai player is accused of approaching Rajashtan Royals player Pravin Tambe to try and fix in IPL. Tambe had earlier reported the incident to the BCCI Anti-Corruption unit - saying he refused the offer. After months of mystery surrounding the case, BCCI has finally suspended the Mumbai Ranji player. After the announcement BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya added that the board was committeed to keep cricket clean while the BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur praised the board's anti corruption efforts. Sources tell NewsX however that the board is likely to take further action against the player & a minimum 5 year ban against Hiken Shah is on the cards.
