Police say militants have ambushed an Army patrol in Chandel district of Manipur, killing at least 10 soldiers and wounding 12 others.
Police said the ambush occurred on Thursday as a team of 6 Dogra Regiment was on a road opening patrol along Tengnoupal-New Samtal road, about 80 km from Imphal.
