Two army men were injured after an encounter started between militants and the joint team of army and police at Haft Shirmal in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday evening. The injured Army men have been evacuated to the nearest hospital. Reports said that citing on a specific information about the presence of militants at Heff Shirmal area of the district, army’s 55 RR and SOG cordoned off the whole area.
