Raking up the issue of “exodus” of Hindus in Uttar Pradesh’s Kairana district last year, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Yogi Adityanath said the situation in Western UP was like the situation in Kashmir in 1990. Addressing a rally, the BJP MP said in 1990, the Hindus were terrorised and forced to leave Kashmir and now Hindus in Kairana are facing the same.
