Amarinder Singh wants PCC chief out

Former Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh openly called for leadership change in the state. He said it was necessary if the party wanted to win the next Assembly elections in 2017.


In a meeting with Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Amarinder, Deputy Leader of the party in the Lok Sabha, is said to have conveyed concerns over the continuation of Punjab Pradesh Congress president Partap Singh Bajwa and urged for a replacement acceptable to all.
