Sunanda Pushkar Murder Case: The Delhi Police on Monday issued a statement declaring Sunanda Pushkar's death as murder. Here are 10 facts on the murder that have been brought up.

1. Case registered in Sarojini Nagar Police Station, Delhi under Sec 302 against unknown persons.

2. Medical report says she was poisoned. However, oral or injected poisoning is not known.

3. Pushkar, 52, was found dead in mysterious circumstances in Delhi’s Leela hotel.

4. Delhi Police to form special team to question witnesses.

5. Autopsy report also mentions a “deep teeth bite” on the edge of her left palm.

6. Sunanda Pushkar was the wife of former Indian Union Minister and UN diplomat Shashi Tharoor.

7. Shashi Tharoor to be questioned in the case.

8. Sunanda viscera to be sent abroad for testing.

9. Sunanda wasn’t found to be suffering from any illness before death.
