2019-03-01 473

If Narendra Modi does get picked to be the TIME Magazine’s Person of the Year, he will be the second Indian to achieve that honour after Mahatma Gandhi.

With four days left for voting to go, Narendra Modi leads the pack for Time Magazine’s Person of the Year award. He is trailed by the Ferguson voters, Hong Kong protest leader Joshua Wong, Nobel Peace Prize Winner Malala Yousafzai and the Ebola doctors and nurses make up the top 5. Modi currently has 10.8% votes while the Ferguson protesters have 10.2%.

Of course, TIME Magazine won’t actually be choosing the winner based on the votes but they want to see who the most popular person is. In the online polls, Narendra Modi had actually lost the top spot to Ferguson voters. Yeah we know they are not a person but at certain times groups of people or even inanimate objects like The Computer, have been won.
