AAP wants BJP to make its stand clear on L-G meet

Arvind Kejriwal along with AAP delegation has left to meet Delhi Lt Governor.

5:30 pm: According to PTI, top sources in BJP said the party has already taken "an in principle" decision of not taking power and top leadership has already conveyed to the city unit to make preparations for polls soon.

3:30 pm: Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit takes on AAP saying that "the haste with which AAP was formed it will go with the same haste."

3:20 pm: After meeting Lt Governor, Congress leader Haroon Yusuf says that his party from day one has been demanding fresh polls. "Our party president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi want elections in Delhi," Yusuf confirmed.

The Congress leader further attacks Arvind Kejrwal saying that AAP just wants to be in power.

"Both AAP and BJP don't bother about Delhiites, who are suffering from rising food prices, water, power scarcity and inflated bills," Yusuf maintained.

"I have requested the Lt Governor to dissolve the Delhi Assembly and hold elections," Yusuf said.

3:15 pm: BJP high command asks its leaders not to comment anything on the contentious issue of government formation in Delhi.

3:00 pm: Congress leader Haroon Yusuf along with other party leaders are meeting at Lt Governor Najeev Jung's residence. The Congress has maintained that it wants fresh polls in Delhi.

2:50 pm: AAP leader Sanjay Singh says BJP should clear its stand on government formation in Delhi.

Lt Governor Najeeb Jung on Monday called for an all-party meet for discussion over government formation in Delhi, which has been under President's Rule since February 17.
