Rendering a body blow to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), founder-member and patron Shanti Bhushan questioned party chief Arvind Kejriwal's organizational skills expressing sharp criticism at the lack of internal democracy in the party. The charge was stoutly rebutted by the party which has been losing its core team members.
Earlier this year, another old-timer Shazia Ilmi quit while a series of acrimonious letters between Yogendra Yadav and Manish Sisodia indicated deep fissures within the party.
"Arvind (Kejriwal) is a great leader and a great campaigner, but in my opinion he lacks organisational ability. He does not have the kind of competence which can spread the message of the party all over India, which can quickly create elected structures of the party which nobody will be able to blame," Bhushan said.
