Nawaz Sharif's party Pakistan Muslim League (N) confirmed the news on Thursday. "Nawaz Sharif will meet the Indian Prime Minister and strengthen ties," party spokesperson Siddique Farooq said. A formal announcement on this is expected soon.
Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi had on Wednesday extended an invitation to Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and heads of all the SAARC countries for his oath-taking ceremony on May 26.
