Narendra Modi leaves for Gujarat Assembly to handover duties as chief minsiter. Reports say that Moid will bass on the reins to Anandiben.
Modi reaches Gujarat Assembly and will soon attend a special session of the state legislative Assembly where he will be accorded a farewell by the members.
Modi has been the CM of Gujarat since October 7, 2001.
Party sources said that after Modi submits his resignation, BJP legislators will hold a meeting to elect the successor to the PM-elect, appointed as such by the President on Tuesday.
