As many as 17 Uttar Pradesh ministers and MLAs who had gone on an 18-day 'study tour' of the UK, Turkey, the Netherlands, Greece and the UAE have been reportedly forced to return on Monday.
Their junket, which came under severe criticism, came to an abrupt end after ministers cut short their trip and returned to India. The MLAs have already visited Istanbul, London, The Hague, Amsterdam, Greece and the UAE at the expense of the state exchequer.
