The Gujarat police on Monday refused to accept a complaint filed by the suspended IAS officer Pradeep Kumar Sharma against Chief Minister Narendra Modi and the former Home Minister Amit Shah in a surveillance case.
Mr. Sharma said the police first refused to accept the complaint and later offered the explanation that the issue was sub judice and was already before a Central government-appointed inquiry committee.
Mr. Sharma later said he would approach a court.
Two news portals, Cobrapost and Gulail, claimed on November 15 that Mr. Shah had ordered surveillance on a woman at the behest of "saheb".
