According to Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report, army has ammunition for only 10 days. It would take 2 years to make army capable for war. Then only Indian army would get better weapons. Ordinance factory is not able to provide the army with required weapons. Defense Expert, Prem Kumar Sahgal considers this to be a topic of concern. According to Defense Expert, Shivali Deshpande, vice chief of army should keep a check on efficient supply of ammunition. Even the cannon balls supplied would not last for 10 days. This report also came out in 2015. Weapons are not enough to fight war with China.
