New Delhi: There is a political deadlock in Delhi as both Bharatiya Janata Party, with 32 MLAs the single largest unit in the 70-member Assembly but still short of four MLAs for a simple majority, and the debutant Aam Aadmi Party with 28 seats declaring that neither will try and form the government and will instead sit in the Opposition. With government formation almost impossible without the help of the eight-member Congress, Lieutenant Governor Naseeb Jung is likely to place the Assembly under suspended animation.
