Top terrorist and Indian Mujahideen (IM) co-founder Yasin Bhatkal, who was recently arrested from India-Nepal border had reportedly told his interrogators that he first heard the name of 'Karachi Project' when he joined Riyaz and Iqbal Bhatkal. According to reports, the sinister project, which aimed to 'create bad publicity, fear and death in India', was the hidden programme given shape by the Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) in 2003 and started by the IM in 2008. The aim of the project was to destabilise the Indian Government and scare its people by frequent terror attacks.
