New Delhi: Minister's Office (PMO) is reportedly has rejected the Union Oil and Petroleum Minister plan to shut down the petrol pump in order to shrink fuel demand.
Petroleum Minister Veerappa Moily in his proposal stated that the heavy demands of fuels could be reduced if petrol pumps are directed to close down from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. every day. His suggestion has attracted strong criticism from the opposition and no support from the allies.
