The TRS has put the Congress party in a fix with theader KC Rao's constant dilly dallying over whether to merge with the Congress or not. The TRS, which repeatedly announced that it would merge with the Congress once Telangana is created, is now making the Congress wait on its final decision. Will this upset the Congress Party's grand calculations ahead of 2014 elections?
Also, there is pressure from the TRS cadre, who have toiled hard all these years that the party keep its separate identity.
There is also a feeling that the TRS is unnerved by the upsurge of popular anger in the Seemandrha region and feels that Congress may use this to put off the T decision.
