Icy cold winds blew over Delhi as mercury dropped to 4.2 degrees Celsius - the lowest of the season so far, on Friday. The city woke up to a stinging chill even as a blanket of dense fog shrouded the city. Several trains were cancelled and flights delayed as vehicles searched for roads ahead. Office goers braved the early morning chill while government schools have already closed their primary wings till the weekend.
