Delhi was kept on high alert with the deployment of more than 40,000 security personnel across the city today a day ahead of the Republic Day celebrations amid warning of terror strikes from central intelligence agencies. According to sources, around 49,000 security personnel along with 1,000 snipers will guard the city with the help of 15,000 CCTVs tomorrow to prevent any untoward incident during the visit of chief guest French President Francois Hollande.
