The death toll due to dengue in the city has gone up to 16. The New Delhi Municipal Council, meanwhile, has approached embassies and foreign missions to allow its staff to check for mosquito breeding on their premises. The Council had raised the issue with the Union Health Ministry after mosquito-breeding conditions were detected in five embassies last month.
