It’s a sad day for the nation indeed. Former president Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s sudden death has put the whole nation in
mourning. The Missile Man of India passed away yesterday in Shillong due to a massive cardiac arrest.
Here we bring to you the images of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s body being received at the Guwahati airport. Several leaders
including chief minister Tarun Gogoi and senior IAF officials joined in to pay their tribute to the former president whose
death has come as a shock to many.
The pictures show the casket carrying his body, wrapped in tricolor. As per media reports , mournful hymn were played in the
background as the casket was being carried inside the aircraft.
