NewsX:
West Bengal Chit fund mastermind Sudipto Sen and an accomplice Arvind Singh Chauhan have been remanded to 10 days police custody by the Baruipur District court.

Sources are saying, Sen in the hearing pleaded with the magistrate to keep him in police custody so that he can give names of others involved in the case. Sen apparently also wants to highlight the malpractices carried out by others vis a vis the software used by Saradha group.

Earlier, Sen had filed a 23-page affidavit in Calcutta High Court stating neither chief minister Mamata Banerjee nor any of the Trinamul ministers helped in mopping up deposits for the chit fund scheme.
