NewsX: Sanjay Dutt's lawyer Subhash Yadav yesterday submitted before the special TADA Court that the 53-year-old actor wanted to withdraw his application filed on Tuesday.
In that application he had sought leave to surrender before Yerwada jail in Pune instead of giving himself up in the TADA Court in Mumbai.
Yerwada jail is familiar territory for the actor who has served two spells here earlier.
Ensuring his safety will be an easier job here as he will most likely be given a cell with a toilet inside.
He can also stay away from public glare by keeping to himself in his barrack that he will have all to himself.
