A Delhi-based woman was allegedly raped in a moving car on Palwal-Sohna road on Monday night. After receiving a complaint, Sohna police lodged an FIR against two persons and arrested the key accused, a Delhi-based property dealer, on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old victim, who has a three-month-old baby, was allegedly raped by her friend Devender (29). The victim claimed the accused had dumped her by the roadside after raping her.
The victim was in a Gurgaon mall around 6pm when Devender called her and asked where she was, she said in her complaint. When she told him, he said he was in Gurgaon and was returning to Delhi and offered to drop her home. As she knew him, she agreed.
